I feel doing a blog, as provided by the service, makes sense at this point. I departed from a career where I felt myself managing day-to-day things more than I was learning or moving the needle on my own knowledge and engagement. Nearly 10 years working in IT has brought my journey here. Working to make some bits of plastic relevent for others. I know my way around a computer, printers (both paper and plastic), AV equipment and collaborative spaces. While I sat and stared at walls some days wondering when the work will happen, I'd think about form and function. Landing me here from whatever guiding hand from elsewhere has deemed it so. I got into 3d printing almost 6 years ago. Knocking around a Creality CR-10, printing mempo masks, containers and pen cups. All of it had me up in arms tired of waiting on the tech at the time. Slow 150-200mms speeds, had me waiting days for a mask, finding that it didn't fit my own head in the end. Now, I can churn out 3-4 of the same in a day. The speed in which the 3D community has pushed the limits of the printers is phenomenal. So while I get this setup and eventually roll out small dragons to the public en masse. I'll hopefully be able to push it farther and bring something of meaning to other folks lives in the meantime. Looking forward to you all. Thanks for any and all support. -Brian K
