How to start?

The philosphy...
A large part of my life has been following a lot of folks around figuring out where I fit in. Moving around in my childhood due to my father's Navy enlistment, made it easy for me to drop whatever it is in front of me and move on. Relationships, careers, hobbies. But it has also provided me a great insight into understanding what it is I want to achieve. A lot of fleeting things have come and gone without much importance. But it makes the things that are, very obvious. Here we are. Taking my own reins for once and not settling on what's typically given to me. 

The work...
I have a background in IT, Network Infrastructure. Working through retail, restaurant and factory work historically. But the work in IT was most likely the least appealing and boring. It made me complacent in a large degree. Life took note and downsizing happened with the company I worked for. By this time I had entered into 3D printing as a hobby for few years.
That Creality CR-10, Ender-3 experience really pushed me into a lot of deep water of printer maintenance and improving that hardware. But those machines really can only take so much. They fell short of performance, required frequent leveling/maintenance/cleaning. Moving past them was next to really push me to where I am. 

The pursuit...

I started doing some minor design work in TinkerCad. Simple fun shapes, then replication of them in reality really offers up a genuine feeling of pride. A particular part I made and mocked up from cobbled together models made me feel like I could give a real useful item to someone. I ultimately just archived it and went back to the IT work. 
But that was the start of what you see now. Seeing the models in full realization for people. My approach to my model was to get something useful in hand, but also appealing.
