Shipping Policy

1. Shipping Policy

A. Shipping cost

  • Free shipping on most orders.

  • Exceptions: Shipping may be charged for:

    1. Exclusive offers, and/or

    2. Direct design work or non-listed items / special orders
      Any shipping charges for exceptions will be disclosed at checkout or provided in writing (quote/invoice) before fulfillment.
       

B. Processing / production times

  • Production and processing times vary by product type and workload.

  • Any stated production timeframes are estimates, not guarantees.

  • For custom projects, timelines depend on responsiveness, approvals, and complexity.
     

C. Carriers, tracking, and delivery

  • We ship using USPS. Other shipping options, when required for custom work.

  • Tracking (when available) will be provided to the email address used at checkout.

  • Carrier delivery times are outside our control; delays may occur due to weather, peak shipping seasons, carrier disruptions, or other factors.
     

D. Address accuracy

  • You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

  • If a package is returned due to an incorrect address or failed delivery attempts, reshipping may require additional fees.
     

E. Risk of loss

  • To the extent permitted by law, risk of loss transfers when the shipment is accepted by the carrier.
     

2. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

Important note about custom work: Many PrintSmith3D products/services are made-to-order or custom. Because these items are produced to your specifications, returns are limited.
 

A. Non-returnable / non-refundable items

Unless required by law, the following are final sale:

  • Custom or personalized items

  • Made-to-order items produced to your specifications

  • Custom services already performed (including design/modeling time, prototyping, rush fees, or consultation time)

  • Items damaged due to misuse, improper installation, modification, or normal wear
     

B. Damaged, defective, or incorrect items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 30 days of delivery at printsmith3dllc@gmail.com and include:

  • Order number

  • Clear photos of the item and packaging

  • Description of the issue

After review, we will, at our option:

  • Repair,

  • Replace, or

  • Refund (in whole or part)

We may request the item be returned for inspection in certain cases; return shipping for confirmed defects/our error will be handled as described in your resolution email.
 

C. Standard (non-custom) items

  • We do not accept returns except for damaged, defective, or incorrect items.
     

D. Exchanges

  • Exchanges are limited to Same item and Color and must be requested within 14 days.

  • Custom items are not eligible unless defective/incorrect.
     

E. Cancellations

  • Non-custom orders: cancellation requests may be accepted before shipment.

  • Custom/made-to-order orders and custom services: cancellations may be accepted before work begins. Once work begins, cancellation may be denied or may incur charges for time/materials already committed.
     

F. Custom service approvals and “buyer’s remorse”

For custom work, you are responsible for reviewing and approving proofs/specs. If you approve a proof/spec and later decide you want changes, additional fees and timeline changes may apply.
